We had to say goodbye to Merlot today, our dearly loved Weimaraner. She was with me over 14 years - starting a lifetime ago when I was only 22, and still in the military. The last few years have been hard for her, and old age finally caught up with her. I’m crushed.

My dog dug herself a hole to sleep in - and I finally understand that whole “dig the dog bed before laying down” thing they do.

I sure miss this pup. Best #weimaraner.
